Welsh based integrated marketing and communications agency Ontrac have just won the contract to manage and deliver four stakeholder events across Wales, starting on 5th July 2010 in Llanelli. The purpose of each event is to highlight key priorities for education reform in Wales and how the School Effectiveness Framework (SEF) will be taken forward at the school and classroom level.
This latest win, based on their previous track record, means that Ontrac will be working in partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government’s School Effectiveness Framework team and the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning Skills (DCELLS).
Account Managers Sian Hill and Jayne Wotton, who will be responsible for the events, believe this contract reflects/builds on the work they are currently delivering across Wales with a series of Speed Networking events as well as the Youth Work in Wales Excellence Awards which they delivered earlier this year.
"The stakeholder conferences have been designed to help deliverers of the new school effectiveness framework in Wales to maximise their knowledge" said Sian. "Ontrac will be working with our client at the Welsh Assembly Government to deliver some really enticing and relevant themes for the conference, and we believe that they will become a focal point in the continued roll out of the school effectiveness framework".
Events will focus on disseminating information on the new framework to ensure its effective rollout.
Ontrac’s CEO, Jonnie Galvin-Wright commented: "This latest win is a testament to Ontrac’s proven track record and creativity in this market sector – including our recent management of the Investors in People network events and a series of speed networking events for the Supplier Development Service in Wales. The Ontrac team, based in Cardiff and Newtown, will be drawing on our core disciples of event management, design & print, marketing and digital – as well as a thorough local knowledge.
'I am very pleased and proud that we are continuing to provide key services in conjunction with the Welsh Assembly Government.'
