Reach the Heights Event, Gwersyll yr Urdd Glan Llyn, Bala
On March 18th Ontrac in Newtown managed ‘Reach The Heights’ – an interactive event held by The Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) and its partners, young people and practitioners to showcase the work done on the ‘Reach the Heights’ projects.
Ontrac provided an integrated package: venue recce and logistics, set up, on the day staffing, and liaison with all partners and sponsor organisations. We also organised translation and simultaneous translation on the day, all Audio visual requirements, design and build of the registration website, delegate management, and the design of all event materials.
We had over 100 attendees, and the client, The Welsh Assembly Government, was very pleased with the whole event and its organisation. For more information visit: www.ontrac-events.com/reachtheheights.
Supplier Development Service, Welsh Assembly Government, Brecon
Ontrac in Newtown organised these two networking on March 2nd and 9th for the Supplier Development Service in Mid Wales. Entitled ’recession busting briefings’, Ontrac booked and negotiated the best rates for the venues, managed all delegates and the invitation process, and provided on the day bilingual staffing. We also handled the design and print of all event materials, advised the client on format and content for the event and recruited the key note speakers from successful local businesses across Mid Wales.
It was an excellent turn out at both events and the client has already commissioned us for another two events in May and June.
Welsh Electronics Forum Rebrand
Ontrac in Newtown successfully won a pitch to rebrand the Welsh Economics Forum as ‘est.net’. Working closely with the client, we developed a new look and feel for the client, which included visuals for their website, new printed folders, stationery and roll up banners.
The client was especially ‘delighted’ with the work produced by Tim Gudgeon, Newtown’s Creative Director, and their new brand will be launched in Cardiff at the beginning of April.
Caerphilly Council – Digital Inclusion Project
And, hot off the press, Ontrac in Newtown has just been awarded a contract by Caerphilly Council to provide an integrated campaign for their new project – an online directory eligible for all businesses in the Heads of the Valleys. The aim is to get people to use their local stores and companies, whilst linking all businesses involved into one central portal. We have already submitted some preliminary designs for a new logo and brand, and are working closely with the client to progress things further – especially in the provision of integrated communication channels.
