Ontrac in Newtown celebrates 20 year milestone by landing UK referendum work

Staff at Ontrac’s Newtown office celebrated 20 years of continued success on March 4th with a prestigious new win - producing the poster and graphics campaign for the UK’s referendum on voting reform scheduled for May 2011.

This latest win followed hard on the heels of designing and producing the graphics and design toolkit for the Electoral Commission to enable all local authorities across Wales to publicise the March 3rd Yes/No Referendum.

Marian Harding, Newtown’s Managing Director, said: “For a rural regional agency to secure these high profile contracts is a huge compliment to Ontrac’s team. I believe it is our unique ability to combine the creativity and discipline of a London agency with the commitment, service and value of a local supplier that has enabled us to win these contracts. And the fact that many of our clients have stayed with us for the whole 20 years is a testament to both customer satisfaction and the quality of our work.”

Montgomeryshire MP Glyn Davies, who joined in the celebrations, said: ”Ontrac’s growth and achievements demonstrate that it’s possible for businesses to be based in Mid Wales and be successful nationally and internationally. Winning contracts to produce materials for both the Assembly powers and Alternative Vote referendums demonstrates great confidence in Ontrac by national bodies.”
