Broadband research and strategy – BT Wales

The penetration of broadband is a continuing objective of government policy. Bt Wales were keen to find out the current situation. Ontrac were tasked with finding out who is using business broadband, what the barriers to take up were and who the competition was. We recommended a multi faceted research exercise to concentrate on areas with below average take up of broadband with a combination of stratified random sampling, structured questionnaires and telephone interviewing. We identified the major issues to purchase and the people to be targeted in future marketing initiatives.
