The CCW had the daunting task of making Welsh children excited about the Countryside Code. Children and rules are not a natural partnership – so they called us in.
Undaunted, we carried out extensive research into attitudes amongst children, and teamed up with Aardman Animations to create an education pack featuring their Creature Comforts characters. We produced a CD-ROM and other teaching materials, supported with posters, leaflets and bookmarks, plus a TV and cinema commercial.
The result: Everything was launched at the Royal Welsh Show, where we really gave the message some wellie – and the kids loved it.
