Natural Resources Wales is an organisation tasked to ensure that the natural resources of Wales are sustainably maintained, enhanced and used, now and in the future. Encompassing the Forestry Commission, Countryside Council and Environment Agency, it has many target audiences and covers a whole gamut of countryside management issues, from water and flood defences to recreation, and from litter to the countryside code.
As well as ensuring responsible countryside management and working with the forestry and agricultural sectors, another of its key objectives is to enable opportunities for young people to learn and develop skills in and about the natural environment. This will ensure a legacy for one of its key objectives: to ensure that the resources of Wales are managed successfully in the future.
This is very much translated in their stands which are used throughout Wales and specifically at the eisteddfods and the Royal Welsh Show. Ontrac design and produce a footprint, encompassing the three organisations. They then produce a graphics plan and a series of graphics explaining the work of the organisations. They work with the client to produce an interactive fun area to encourage children to visit the stand and act as a trigger for them to feel inquisitive about their natural environment. Ontrac also stand-dress the stand and provide on-site assistance on a daily basis to assist with hospitality events on the stand and to ensure a seamless delivery for the duration of the shows.
