'Together We Can' was a high-profile Government initiative to empower local people by encouraging them to work more closely with government.
The brief: Develop the brand and magazine to get the message across to local communities. We came up with the winning strapline "the shortest distance between two people is a smile", created and produced the 'We Can' magazine, and then distributed it to people with an interest in the empowerment agenda, from central and local government to community activists and the VCS.
The result: Together we did it – and created a lot of smiles all round.
