The Godwin family have been cutting peat from the Somerset Levels for almost a century. Originally burnt as fuel, it is now used in compost – and they needed a make-over for their bags.
The brief: Design four new plastic sacks for their best selling lines - and make them stand out in a busy retail environment. We commissioned watercolour illustrations, handled the artwork and printing, and even grew plants from seed for the photography.
The result: Grass-roots integration in practice – and increased sales.
